Lead AV Technician(Commercial)

AV Technician

We are seeking experienced AV Technicians in the Austin, TX area. In this role you would be responsible for duties such as installing, terminating, and programming end devices for audio visual, and testing and troubleshooting complex audio, video, switching and control systems problems.

AV Technician Responsibilities:

• Installing and programming equipment such as Crestron, Polycom, and more.
• Creating positioning plans for audio, video, and lighting equipment layouts.
• Delegating tasks amongst the rest of the AV technician team.
• Operating system control software for AV devices.
• Managing job and broadcast sites.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in reading construction drawings and AV system schematics.
• At least 1 year of programming either Crestron or Polycom systems.
• Experience installing TVs, Projectors and Speakers using safe mounting and rigging practices.
• Ability to properly fabricate racks and terminate all types of AV connections in the field by crimping, soldering, etc.
• Ability to assist with the commissioning of AV Systems.
